1st engine for my 2011 RAM 2500 did not make it out of the garage. The replacement engine was shipped on time & it's been working for the last 4 months w/o an issue.
Regarding Powertrainproducts.net honoring the warranty, it's been 123 days and I still don't have a check paying for the re-install. I recommend following up phone calls with emails and documenting the check number if they say the check is in the mail. I have spoken to Ruth and Rose today in the warranty department (option 4,1)
I have been told that the manager, Ronnie will call me
back today before they close (5:30PM Eastern).

Oct 24, 2023Overall the engine was great, however, there seemed to not be good communication within the staff. I received multiple emails telling me they would charge my card for the core since they hadn't been updated with tracking on the return. Well. that was quite the opposite, not only did I email them and call them at least 3x, my mechanic also called at least 3x mind you these were all different occasions. COMMUNICATE

Aug 25, 2023We ordered our engine on a Friday and was told it would be here the following Wednesday. The engine arrived at the destination on that next Monday 2 days ahead of schedule. Making the install sooner than expected. Great customer service, I also gave the info to a friend who owns a repair shop . He looked through it and was impressed. He said that he figures on doing business with you based on price and delivery. Thanks again for all your help.

May 16, 2023From my call to powertrain I was impressed with the sales person being very knowledgeable about their engines! Had my engine in three days at my door! The engine was very well protected in a awesome shipping container. And shipped back core no hassle. Engine is running beautiful at 200 miles still breaking in but so smooth! I couldn't have had a better experience!

Jun 22, 2023I had quality control issues with one engine and the core return procedure could use a little bit of refinement. I had a core brought back and left in my driveway while on vacation even though I followed procedure. I was also promised an extension on my core charge, but that didn't change the emails and charge. Overall, a good product at a good price.

Nov 5, 2023I was kept up to date on the status of my order throughout the entire process. My engine arrived earlier than expected and was in great shape. The engine itself is a quality piece and getting installed and fired up was a breeze. When I need another engine I will happily purchase another from power train products.

Jan 10, 2024You can't beat the build quality of their parts, everything is perfect and looks brand new. I've ordered transmissions, engines, differentials, and transfer cases from them and I haven't had a single issue with any one of them. You can rest assured that even if there was an issue they have a great warranty. I don't get my stuff from anywhere else. As a small business owner having a distributor that has everything I need at my finger tips is priceless. Shipping is quick and core pickup is easy. Can't say enough good things about them. Overall great quality product I work at a Dealership and the motors there aren’t prepped as well as my motor from power train products.
The only suggestion is when buying a GM product is I would have like to have known what gen motor I was getting mine was a gen 3 and I received a gen 4 and known what reluctor wheel was on the motor would be nice. These where minor issues but that the only issue I had beside that amazing overall experience.

Aug 31, 2023Our truck was stuck at the dealer 2 weeks (!) waiting for a transfer case. At recommendation of my local shop I called Powertrain Products. Hetty took the vin and t-case asembly number, confirmed the part was available and made the quote @ 12.00 noon on Monday 8/28. The t-case arrived at the dealer at 10.00am on Thursday 8/31. Less than 72 hours, from initial phone call to delivery. Excellent service, will definitely recommend. Thank you!!

Aug 5, 2023Jill was my sales person she is very nice and Knowledgeable about her job and products and she has never let me down . Engine Power products has top quality in there engine and transmission rebuilds !! Their warranties are better than a factory warranty you do not build junk with a strong warranty like that . I had a customer bring me a rebuild from else where the block was scaley and rusted head bolts holes I had to chase them to remove the rust and thick crud from the holes that 180psi could not remove 1 year 12 000 mile warranty and it broke a crank the other day and they will not refund them . I love my Powertrain Product best rebuilds ever they save me lots of time rebuilding engines working alone . Keep up the good work ladies and gents .
